Pol. Gen. Thatchai revealed that the call center gang used various methods of deception, including stock trading, romance scams, opening online gambling websites, and posing as officials from the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand and Land Department. Of the 119 people who were sent back, 100 have been prosecuted, while the remaining 15 people who have not been issued arrest warrants are being investigated to find additional evidence.
