Today (5 March 2025), Mr. Chatchai Bangchuad, Secretary-General of the National Security Council (NSC), spoke about the case of Mr. Phumtham Vejjayachai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Pol. Col. Thawee Sodsong, Minister of Justice, and their group who will travel to Xinjiang Province, China on 18 March to follow up and visit after 40 Uighurs were sent back to China. He said that he could not yet answer whether he would join the group or not. He would have to look at it again. Currently, it is in the planning stage.
